BALI awards 2019 break records

The British Association of Landscaping Industries’ (BALI) prestigious landscaping awards returns on December 6th, 2019 to the  JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

In the lead up the BALI National Landscape Awards expert Adjudication Panel has seen a record number of entries this year. Led by John Melmoe, the panel will be judging 145 entries in 2019. This year also sees the highest number of first-time entrants submitting projects into the Awards, proving that the largest landscaping Awards in Europe still succeed in entering the history books 43 years on.

Since the Awards were brought back in house in 2018, the team at BALI Landscape House have been working hard to market and promote the benefits of winning a prestigious BALI National Landscape Award to over 900 Registered members. There are now more Registered Contractors, Registered Designers, Registered Affiliate and International members entering since 2009 when the all-time record of 146 entries was achieved.

The Adjudicators are currently visiting applicable entries and will continue to do so through to final deliberations at BALI Landscape House at the end of August, with this year’s winners announced early September.

The host of this year’s prestigious event is sport and lifestyle presenter Mark Durden-Smith who will be taking the reins following a recent back catalogue of famous faces including Gyles Brandreth, Steph McGovern and most recently Dan Walker. Mark is most well-known to sports fans for anchoring ITV’s Premiership and World Cup rugby coverage, as well as cookery programmes and morning magazine shows.

With tickets going on general sale from Monday 12 August and expected to sell-out quickly, anticipation levels are rising in the lead up to the ceremony set for Friday 6 December at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
