Lombardini UK Ltd have reported a record year for 2011, despite continued economic uncertainty and difficult trading conditions.
Sales of Lombardini diesel engines within the UK and Ireland increased significantly in accordance with the company’s year on year growth plan.
This was due to growth in business with both new and established OEM clients, consolidation of existing business, and a re-structuring of our Dealer network to ensure that smaller OEM clients continue to be served in an efficient manner. The servicing of customers both small and large has been a foundation of the company, and Lombardini UK are conscious of a need to continue to support smaller manufacturers efficiently via their Dealer network.
Similarly, good sales growth was achieved with Kohler petrol engines, particularly due to the new Command PRO 7 to 14 HP engine range.
. 2011 also saw the launch of the new Lombardini / Kohler KDI Range “Tier 4 final” compliant water cooled diesel engines that meet these stringent requirements without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The “Unveiling the Future” launch event in November, held at the Lombardini HQ, was a great success. The audience consisted of 120 strategic product suppliers and members of the International Press. The event was also streamed live on the internet, and was viewed by more than 1,800 pre-registered virtual attendees.
