John O’Conner Ltd., the independent grounds maintenance company responsible for many parks and green spaces across the country, has launched its 2012 national search for five more apprentices.

The scheme will work in association with regional colleges and provide a combination of theory and hands-on work experience in public parks cared for by John O’Conner.

Karen Woodward, Divisional Apprenticeship Director, National Apprenticeship Service said: “We need more companies like John O’Conner to provide career apprenticeships. There are thousands of men and women across the UK looking for such opportunities.”
