Woodland cemetery… Tracmaster ..George Brown Implements

(L-R) Alex Preston and Andy Carter of Epping Forest Burial Park with John Ryan of George Brown Implements

Epping Forest Burial Park, a mature woodland cemetery in Essex, has recently taken delivery of a BCS Commander with scythe cutter bar, flail mower and hay rake, from one of Tracmaster’s authorised dealers George Brown Implements.
Tracmaster were contacted by Epping Forest Burial Park’s Woodland Manager, Julia Rolf because they needed a machine capable of cutting various areas of overgrown vegetation, including 4ft high bracken. After considering different options they decided on the BCS Commander professional mower. This machine is ideal for managing conservation areas and has the ability to operate a variety of different implements, making it the perfect choice for use in many different areas.
Staff at the Burial Park will be using the machine to manage the woodland area where they will be cutting bracken and bramble with the scythe and raking it into rows for easy clearance in order to improve biodiversity in the woodland.
There is also a wildflower meadow to maintain, where the scythe and hay rake will be used to cut and clear the vegetation to encourage the future growth of wildflowers and to benefit invertebrates.
The flail mower will mainly be used to maintain the edges of rides and footpaths throughout the Parks.
