Glee & Gardenex

Glee has confirmed that it will be working closely with Gardenex to further boost its market-leading international offering in 2010. In 2009 the exhibition welcomed more than 1,200 international visitors from 55 countries, as well as a host of international exhibitors. Glee is also the first choice trade show for many Gardenex members. To date, over 70% of Gardenex members who exhibited last year have already rebooked.
Building on their long established relationship, Glee and the UK-based Federation of Garden and Leisure Manufacturers Ltd, (Gardenex) will be implementing a high profile, more collaborative global marketing programme in the run up to the September exhibition The programme is part of Glee’s commitment to continuing to deliver the best selection of overseas buyers and suppliers of any UK garden trade show, maximising international buying and selling opportunities for visiting retailers and exhibitors.
Glee’s arrangement with Gardenex follows the show’s recent announcement of closer links with other key trade associations including the Garden Centre Association (GCA) and the Garden Industry Manufacturers Association (GIMA); both of which have recognised the benefits that Glee delivers for their members.
Glee show director, Daniel Thurlow told The Landscaper : "We are extremely pleased to be working so closely with Gardenex once again in the lead up to our 2010 show. As the leading organisation in each of our fields the relationship is a natural fit, and will create the most powerful opportunity for buyers and sellers in these markets”.

Glee is the UK’s leading trade event for the garden and leisure industry, encompassing key sectors such as plants, garden design, garden care, garden leisure, garden retail support and garden home and gift. For more information about Glee 2010 call 01923 690 663 or visit www.gleebirmingham.com
