Cultura group expands

Cultura group expands having recently rebranded from  ELS Landscapes

In response to the progressive changes to the business and culture of the company, IESL Landscape Contractors recently rebranded changing the company name to Cultura. The new name is derived from the latin “care and cultivate”.
The rebranding has further been driven by the recruitment of a new senior management team from industry leading organisations, both landscaping and construction, who now operate from a new base near Farnham, Surrey.
Says Phil Jones, CEO of Cultura Group: “We have completely overhauled the business in the recent past, and these changes meant we had fully outgrown our old branding. We thought that a new approach deserved a brand new name and image. The Cultura ethos is to care, tend and nurture every aspect of what we do so that we learn, improve and grow even further as a business that we can all be proud of. There is incredible potential for future growth and our new branding will position us for those opportunities.”
The Cultura name is rooted in the company’s commitment to cultivate new partnerships – such as one which has just flourished as Scotscape Landscaping Ltd (the landscape construction division within the Scotscape Group) merges its future landscape contstruction opertatoins into Cultura Group.
This strategic move, both for Scotscape and Cultura Group will not only improve the landscape service offering of both companies but will enable Scotscape to focus on its urban greening and maintenance operations, areas in which it has become one of the leading providers in the UK.
Cultura Group will provide landscape construction and associated services to the existing customer base of the combined businesses.
Angus Cunningham, Managing Director of Scotscape will work closely with Scotscape existing clients and Cultura Group throughout the transition phase.
“This is an exciting move within the landscape industry and for the two businesses. The team at Cultura has worked extremely hard over the past eighteen months, concentrating on the training of our people and communication with our customers, amongst other things. This has led to improved quality of delivery, reputational change and a stronger business. This strategic alliance further strengthens our customer offering,” comments Phil Jones,
“This was a move that was already planned prior to the creation of Cultura Group and bringing Scotscape’s construction landscaping under the Cultura brand ensures the future looks very exciting for all involved. I am delighted at the prospect of working with Angus and very much looking forward to the future”.
Angus Cunningham, Managing Director of Scotscape adds, “I have been impressed with the vision, improvements and drive that Phil and his team have introduced to Cultura Group. In making this change we are focusing on our future core businesses and ensuring the high quality of the landscaping service that we have been offering to our clients for the past 30 years continues to improve with Cultura Group. Strategically it allows us to focus on increasing our Landscape Maintenance and Urban Greening market share whilst ensuring our long-term landscape clients are in safe hands.’’
