Tyre suppliers Redstone, the Sussex-based ground maintenance specialist, has made a name for itself over the last 20 years. The key to its success lies in the fact that it listens to its customers and, what’s more, the team then acts on what they hear to give their customers exactly what they want and need. And this is what prompted a huge step forward for the company.
Managing Director, Marcus Hull, explains, “It dawned on me that we had a company full of specialist tyre knowledge and expertise, so why shouldn’t we start making our own? After all, we knew what our customers wanted and we could give them exactly that, without having to compromise.”
The Redwing brand of tyres was born just a few months later, shaking up the market with its signature Turf 24 tyre, followed by a growing range of popular tread patterns, from smart Fairway tyres for golf buggies to the rugged Knobbly for ATV trailers.
In response to its customers’ demands, Redwing has continued to grow, adding a broad range of inner tubes to the range, as well as tyre sealant, repair kits and tyre changers. They are well on their way to realising their ambition to be the UK’s go-to premium brand for the grounds maintenance sector and who’s to say what will be added to the range next…?
