Paul Stafford of DTC Surfacing & Civil Engineering Contractors Aberdeen has taken delivery of his third Volvo BL71 Plus backhoe loader.
From his original purchase of a second hand BL71 in 2005, Paul Stafford added a second unit to his fleet at the end of last year along with a fourteen tonne EC140B and now takes delivery of Volvo’s latest phase III BL71 Plus specifically for use on planing contracts. “We’ve been impressed with the BL71 from the outset,” explained Paul . “The machine has superior digging power and plenty of hydraulic power to operate a 450mm cut planer for most of the patch work repairs we undertake around the City of Aberdeen.”
