Weidemann also introduced two new models. The T4512 CC40 compact telehandler is based on the preceding version but is now fitted with a vertical lift system (vls) as well as a more powerful engine and improved access for routine maintenance.
Powered by a (40 hp) Yanmar engine, the new T4512 offers outstanding operating flexibility, manoeuvrability and power despite its very low headroom of 1.96 m and width of just 1.56 m. Weighing 2.5 tonne, the machine has a maximum payload of 1.2 tonne and a useful lift height to the bucket pivot point of 4.5 m.
Of particular interest is the vls driver assistance system which has been designed to considerable improve both the safety and efficiency of the machine. This system automatically adjust the position of the telescopic arm cylinder whilst the lift cylinder is being operated to ensure maximum safety at all times, resulting in an almost vertical lowering motion of the arm for greatly enhanced stability.
Weidemann has also launched the 4270 CX100T telescopic wheel loader, the company’s largest machine in this category, with an operating weight of 7500 kg.
