NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Kubota UK has announced the appointment of Dave Roberts as the new Managing Director.
Dave was previously General Manager – Sales and Marketing for Kubota’s three main product sectors – Construction, Engines and Tractor & Groundcare. His promotion to MD means he is now responsible for heading up all UK operations.
Dave Roberts told The Landscaper , “Kubota is a market leading brand that has earned a fantastic reputation in its core markets for providing our end user customers high performance, quality and reliable products, backed up with first class aftersales support.
“Our aim now is to build on this successful platform and help take the company to the next level. This will be done by the Kubota team continuing to work in partnership with our dealers and developing the network further.
“Overall, our goals are to maintain and build on our excellent market position in key sectors such as compact tractors, mini excavators, and sub 100KW diesel engines by continually developing our product and aftersales offering to ensure we keep one step ahead of the competition. In addition, there are great growth opportunities in the agricultural tractor market, and Kubota will also continue to develop innovative new products to tap into new markets.”
Dave has a wealth of experience in the industry, having worked at Kubota UK for over 22 years over the course of his career, working in various roles, which has given him a broad knowledge of the overall business. More recently Dave worked at Farol Ltd as Operations Director giving him invaluable experience from a dealer’s perspective.

It has been a personal ambition of mine and I fully intend to maximise on this opportunity for the benefit of all our customers new and existing.”
