Deco-Pak has reported an increase in sales in its Chelsea Garden Range in the week during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, as the decorative aggregates specialist announces its continued commitment to a three-day delivery turnaround.
Deco-Pak Director Rod Slater said: “Every year we see a dramatic rise in sales in our Chelsea horticultural range of sands and gravel for the week during and following the show. So far in 2018, we’ve already seen across the board sales of this range shoot up by 15% YTD”.
The reason behind the demand comes from the proven value of the product, says Rod: “Chelsea is a name synonymous with horticultural excellence, exactly the results we promise customers will see using our horticultural grits and sands. The repeat sales are proof that the product’s price point is working, too.”
In contrast to many larger suppliers, Deco-Pak has also recently announced its highest ever level of capability in supplying. Warehousing capacity and an expanded logistic network means the company is currently turning around deliveries in as little as 24 hours.
Deco-Pak’s Chelsea range now includes a traditional top soil and peat based balanced multi-purpose compost. The compost has won over gardeners using a superior blend of high quality peat and sustainable alternative ingredients providing natural nutrients and bigger, brighter blooms. The product is being sold as a premium compost that is perfect for germinating seeds, growing on seedlings, tubs and baskets.
Other recent additions to the range include; alpine red flame, alpine white, alpine mix, alpine gold, traditional woodland bark and Lytag. Chelsea pea gravel, coarse grit, potting grit, silver sand and sharp sand products complete the range.
