Marshalls national awards covers a range of categories from ‘Best Driveway Transformation’ to ‘Best Use of Marshalls Fairstone’, with this year’s awards attracting over 600 project submissions from its over 1,000 strong associated member companies from all around the UK.
The event culminated in the presentation of a brand new Toyota Hilux Double Cab to the ‘Marshalls Register Contractor of the Year 2012’. This year’s award winner was Joe Curtis, owner of Evergreen Services based in Tollesbury, Essex, for his garden transformation project which used a variety of Fairstone products. On the night Evergreen was also presented with the award for ‘Best Project by a New Register Member’, which placed them in the running for the top prize.
David Jessop, Operations Manager Marshalls Register, said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled for Joe. The quality, design and use of materials on this project, as with all his projects, were simply superb. Joe and his team are an excellent example of the quality of work and professionalism you can expect from a Marshalls Register Member.”

Best Patio Transformation over 35m2 – Perfect Paving, Keston, Kent
Best Patio Transformation under 35m2 – Maurice Smith & Sons, Louth, Lincolnshire
Best Use of Marshalls Ethically Sourced Fairstone –Crystalclear, Bolton, Lancashire
Best Engineering Achievement – Marsh Landscaping, Dronfield, Derbyshire
