Tracmaster New Lawn Scarifier

Tracmaster have announced the launch of the new CAMON LS14 lawn scarifier, which is now available
Designed and manufactured in the UK and based on the popular CAMON professional scarifier, this lighter, smaller model (with a working width of 42cm) is ideal for domestic users wishing to remove moss or thatch from lawns.
The LS14 CAMON lawn scarifier features Honda’s new GP160 engine and a top-of-the range centrifugal clutch, which through a permanently tensioned belt provides drive to the blades. The permanent tensioning of the belt ensures that its life is considerably prolonged, whilst the centrifugal clutch ensures that the scarifier will not operate when the engine is idling. It is fitted with 15 fixed blades made from 2.5mm steel as standard, but can use the three LS42 professional scarifier cartridges available too. The new LS14 CAMON lawn scarifier also features foldable handlebars, puncture-proof, foam-filled tyres and a floating and height-adjustable front axle, designed to reduce scalping of the ground, and can be fitted with a grass bag too, if required.
Alex Pitt, director at Tracmaster, told The Landscaper, “The CAMON name is well-respected and trusted and we are constantly looking to expand the range with suitable machines. We are proud that our CAMON equipment is the first choice for so many customers and feel that our exciting latest additions will keep CAMON at the cutting edge of the groundcare sector”.
