Stockport based M T Kaill (Plant Hire) has taken delivery of twenty two Volvo compact excavators as part of a package including rollers and site dumpers from Volvo dealer – PPS Construction Plant Sales
This is the third wave of brand new Volvo equipment delivered to M T Kaill since taking an initial batch of machines at the end of 2004. “We’ve been impressed with the reliability and the performance of the Volvo product since making the initial switch and so it wasn’t a difficult decision to make when it came to this latest purchase,” says managing director Steve Thomas.
Joining the existing fleet of Volvo minis are ten EC25’s, eight EC55B’s, a brace of EC15B’s and two ECR88 ‘Plus’ reduced swing machines. According to Mr. Thomas this is a fair mix of machine sizes for MT Kaill’s client base. “The EC25 is a good all round machine at the lower end of the tonnage scale and caters for the demands of clients looking for either a two tonne, or a three tonne mini whilst with the EC55B’s we couldn’t see a better five to six tonner on the market,” he said.
