The Good Life…..M&M Timber

M&M Timber has reported that it is now working around the clock to meet urgent re-stocking orders from its nationwide garden centre customer base.
According to reliable industry reports, sales at some garden centre outlets shot up by as much as 80 per cent on 2010 over the Easter bank holiday weekend, despite talk of plant shortages and not being able to open on Easter Sunday.
“We have seen a considerable market swing towards ‘good life’ gardening over the last few years so the early Spring sales rush was no surprise,” M&M Timber’s Managing Director Nigel Poyner told
The Landscaper “All our orders were fulfilled in good time and our workshops are now busy meeting new demands for what promises to be an equally good Summer bonanza.”
Up 60% on the previous year, sales of M&M Timber’s market leading ‘Veggiebed’ ranges exceeded well over 35,000 units in the last twelve months, and the quality built chicken arks have become the biggest sellers in the company’s pet and poultry housing range. The superior quality Bayton greenhouse range, launched just over a year ago, is also gaining popularity with a new breed of aspiring gardeners.
Latest in the company’s horticultural range are free standing Grow Troughs. Available in two sizes, they are designed to sit comfortably on a garden patio and are equally suitable for growing either vegetables for the kitchen or an attractive flower display. The troughs feature top quality pressure treated timber and rugged construction for a guaranteed service life of 15 years.
