Two new rugged lawn scarifiers have been introduced by Efco, the Italian based manufacturer of professional and domestic powered landscape and garden equipment.
Constructed on heavy duty tubular frames with steel decks, the machines feature tough, hardened steel spikes and a height adjustment system with a memory that ensures the machine can be set down at the same height when re-positioned.
Both machines feature fold down handle bars which are easily lever released. This enables compact storage and ease of transportation when being stored or moved from site to site.
The lighter duty AG 40 R45 machine has a 40cm cutting width with fixed spikes and is powered by a 160cc Robin EX13 overhead valve petrol engine. This unit is also supplied as standard with a collection box.
The heavier duty AG 50 H60 model is powered by a Honda engine (160cc) and offers a wider, 50cm cutting width with floating spikes. It features metal bearing mounted wheels and again offers a cutting depth with memory.
The robust construction of both machines makes them ideal for use in the hire industry as well as for landscape contractors and club use in applications such as golf courses and cricket clubs.
