A CHARITY dedicated to creating gardens at children’s hospices nationwide asking companies to donate any unwanted stock to raise funds for its work.
Greenfingers is calling for companies to send items to W&H Peacock Auctioneers and Valuers in Bedford, which will auction them off to raise money for the charity.
Sarah Lioveri, Charity Manager at Greenfingers, said: “We recently launched the initiative to appeal for products from horticultural companies. These are then auctioned off to raise valuable funds for our charitable work.
“We have had several generous product donations already and have raised £7,724.50 through this new initiative to date.
“We would be extremely grateful to any businesses that have items they would like to donate. W&H Peacock Auctioneers will then action the items and they will be sold to the highest bidder.”
