A record number of entries has been shortlisted for next year’s Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) Awards.
Scheduled for 13 March 2026 at The Brewery, London, the awards recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting carried out by APL registered members.
With the addition of two new categories this year, Outdoor Living and Waterfalls & Pond Features, there have been a total of 141 entries, the highest number ever received, the APL reports.
The judges will begin their visits over the summer, in what is the APL’s 30th anniversary, with final judging taking place on 30 September, 1 October and 2 October 2025.
The APL is one of the largest landscape associations in the UK., with a reputation for quality and landscaping excellence and for its support and championing the UK professional landscaping community.
“Congratulations to all our members who have been shortlisted,” said Phil Tremayne, APL general manager. “The APL Awards are a highlight of the landscaping year and the highlight of mine. Entering the awards showcases our members’ commitment to quality landscaping and keeping their customers completely satisfied. The record-breaking number of entries this year proves how much talent, dedication and creativity we have within our industry.”
APL is a specialist group of the Horticultural Trades Association, made up of its landscaper and garden designer members, who meet rigorous standards of quality and professionalism. The APL is reportedly the only landscaping scheme operator of TrustMark, a government initiative that promotes professional trade to consumers. APL members are regularly inspected and agree to follow a customer charter with clients.
