Lighting for Gardens has expanded it’s Elipta range of professional garden lighting with a complete new family of metal halide uplights and spotlights. The Apollo range of metal halide spotlights are made of cast-aluminium in 2 sizes, both with a self-draining lens area to prevent build up of limescale or other water residue on the lens even if pointed directly upwards or if a glare shield is fitted. The larger unit houses 70w or 150w gear, while the smaller unit houses electronic gear for a 35w metal halide lamp, all with a choice of 36 or 60 degree reflectors plus a 150w narrow spot unit . A deep glare shield, internal glare louvre, spike mount and adjustable surface mount are optional accessories.
The surface mount range is complemented by new IP67 recessed uplight models with twin compartment, twin lens construction for cool top lens temperature. Persius is the smaller 35w unit while Olympus is the larger 70w/150w housing, all accepting metal halide lamps. Both are supplied with recess sleeve for in-ground installation, are adjustable up to 18 degrees from vertical and can accept an optional internal glare louvre which tilts with the reflector. All ratings are available with 36 degree beam angle reflectors, with an additional 20 degree beam angle option for 150w units. Persius and Olympus are available with 316 stainless steel and textured brass top plate rings, plus the option of green or black powder-coated stainless steel rings
