Aim Higher by Design

 
Capel Manor College, London’s leading land-based college, is launching its first foundation degree in Garden Design and Plantsmanship this autumn in partnership with the Royal Agricultural University (RAU), Cirencester.
This new foundation degree builds on Capel’s reputation for excellence and delivering the very best garden design qualifications for working professionals and those wishing to start a career as a garden designer.
Malcolm Goodwin, Vice Principal of Capel, believes there has never been a better time to start a career in garden design and to study in higher education. “We are immensely excited to be launching our foundation degree and proud to be working with the RAU whose national and international reputation for higher education is second to none.
This course includes many innovative features not seen in other courses such as high- end software and enterprise skills.
 
The foundation degree at Capel is offered over two years full-time or four years part- time and has been created in association with the RAU. Students will study at Capel’sEnfield centre, home to the National Gardening Centre and the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, set in 34 acres of mature, designed gardens which are open to the public and which provide inspiration throughout the course.
