Home builder St Edward has won the Best Landscaped – Urban Development accolade for Stanmore Place at the New Homes and Garden Awards 2011.
Now in its eighth year, the awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in new home garden and landscape design.
In winning Gold for Best Landscaped – Urban Development, Stanmore Place was recognised as the most outstanding example of innovative quality design around a development, which demonstrates the most effective, creative and original use of outdoor space in a contemporary urban setting. The awards were presented at a ceremony in London.
Located in North West London, Stanmore Place is a residential-led mixed-use development of 798 high specification new homes and contemporary office space, set in landscaped grounds in an area that currently has a low stock of new homes.
Paul Vallone of St Edward says: “We are delighted that the high quality of our landscaping has been recognised by our peers as an exemplar which sets the benchmark in urban landscape design.
“The vision for Stanmore Place was to create an attractive and sustainable lakeside environment where people would want to live and we are extremely proud to have been recognised for this achievement.”
