Time is running out to enter the 2011 RHS Photographic Competition.
To be in with the chance to be named RHS Photographer of the Year and win £1,000, entries to the competition must be received by 31 August 2011.
The RHS, the UK’s leading gardening charity, is searching for the most creative and inspiring garden images of the year, and is looking to professional and amateur photographers alike to capture the beauty and drama of the garden.
The competition has six categories available for adults to enter, including Plant Portraits, Wildlife in the Garden and Gardens Through the Seasons . The winning entrants will be selected by a panel of judges and one winner will be crowned RHS Photographer of the Year and claim the top prize of £1,000.
Children and young photographers can compete for a new digital camera and the title of RHS Young Photographer of the Year by entering one of two categories based on their age.
The RHS Photographic Competition is supported by Medici Cards, offering all entrants the chance to also win the Medici Cards Award and have their winning photograph published as a greetings card.
