Support for the first ever #GroundsWeek

Inaugural celebration #GroundsWeek launches 1 -7 March 2021

Kicking off 1st March, 2021 is #GroundsWeek. It is a celebration of the turf care sector organised by the Grounds Management Association (GMA).
Following a year impacted by Covid-19, #GroundsWeek showcases grounds staff and the work they do. The week long initiative is supported by Kubota (U.K.) Ltd and John Deere.

Industry supports for #GroundsWeek 

Kubota (UK) Ltd will highlight the essential role of the groundsman via its social media channels. “At Kubota, we’re immensely proud of the fantastic relationship we share with professional groundsmen,” says Kubota (UK) Ltd General Manager Henry Bredin. “They work so hard all year to maintain and enhance sports and leisure facilities. Turf Technology

In addition, John Deere Limited will host its first ever Turf Technology online event. Taking place at 2:30pm, Wednesday 3 March it will highlight technology advances being used on John Deere turf equipment. This includes GPS guidance, AutoTrac automatic steering, sprayer Section Control and integrated tools to manage traceability data. Watch a short video clip here.Register here.  John Deere turf division manager and GMA member Chris Meacock says: “The Turf Technology event will feature Robert Patterson, course manager at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club and Mike Ramsay of MC Country Services Ltd. They will share their experience of how our GPS technology has helped their respective golf and groundscare businesses.”
