Awards 2018 – Speaker

Chris Collins of CM Horticulture will be returning to The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) Awards 2018 as the speaker and co-presenter.
With 25 years of practical hands-on experience in parks departments, four different botanic gardens, Westminster Abbey and many private gardens in the UK and in Japan, Africa and Israel, Chris was awarded the Duke of Edinburgh medal in 2007 for his services to horticulture.
At this year’s awards, Chris will tell ‘Part 2’ of his larger-than-life journey through the world of horticulture and landscaping, giving an insight to some of his more unusual projects, as well as hosting the awards alongside Raoul Curtis-Machin, HTA Director of Horticulture.
The event is proud to recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting carried out by APL registered members, and the awards give an opportunity to promote members’ commitment to quality landscaping and keeping their customers completely satisfied.
Alongside the high-quality presenters, the Awards lunch will provide opportunity for networking with key players from across the industry, and a chance to view a snapshot of all shortlisted projects in the reception room before the event.
Set in The Brewery, the venue occupies the site of the former Whitbread Brewery in East London, and the awards are set in a brick-lined room with a 170-foot king post timber roof, with an unsupported span of 65 feet giving an uninterrupted view across the room. It will provide a fantastic setting for this year’s APL Awards.
APL Awards 2018 is on Friday 16 March at The Brewery, London.
