A York-based administrator has been named as the UK’s ultimate Office Hero and has scooped a luxury holiday worth £2,000 as a well-deserved reward.
Roxanne Lupton, a bulk logistic co-ordinator at landscaping and forestry specialist Green-Tech beat 20 finalists to the title, who were selected by a panel of leading entrepreneurs. The national competition, sponsored by office equipment expert Brother, set out to find the most deserving and dedicated employee 
across the UK’s small business community.
Roxanne was nominated by sales and marketing director Mark Whiting, who praised her tireless commitment to coordinating large-volume deliveries of soil, bark and landscaping equipment, which can involve the management of tonnes of raw materials, multiple hauliers and suppliers. Her high standard of work on Green Tech’s largest project to date led to the company winning an additional contract.
As well as being profiled in this month’s Growing Business magazine, Roxanne will win a 5 star luxury break in Venice worth £2,000.
