SHAPING UP WELL

The new World of Paving and Hard Landscaping shows are creating a real buzz in the industry claims Event Director Steven Callaghan.
“We’ve got a steady flow of industry professionals registering for the events and they are telling us that they are really pleased to have their own genuinely specialist industry event especially as it is featuring such a good variety of products and companies”, said Steven.
Recent signups for the show, which now has 70per cent of stands sold out and reserved, include big-name brands like Kubota and Probst joining top industry names such as ACO, Boddingtons, NCC Streetscape and Instarmac but, adds Steven, “visitors are excited at the prospect of discovering some lesser known products rubbing shoulders with the big-boys, they tell us that finding new potential suppliers is high on their wish-list”.
“Brands like Lonstone are a very good example,” Steven continues, “a private family run company who, whilst not having the marketing budget of some of their larger competitors, offer a range of the highest quality paving and walling products that they have been manufacturing in the Cotswolds since 1948.”
All this plus live demonstrations in the Demo Zone, the Innovations Zone, Knowledge Campus with live training feature and the Artisans Avenue hosted by the award winning garden designer Claudia de Yong and the Project of the Year Awards will combine to make these events a must for all in the trade and promise to be a great springboard into the 2010 season
