Hampshire teenager, Catriona Parfitt, the 2008 International Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year, will see her photograph displayed alongside the rest of the world’s best wildlife photographers at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest from 31 January – 8 March 2009.
Catriona’s picture is one of 83 stunning images that feature in the Natural History Museum/BBC touring exhibition.
Her dramatic winning photograph of a lion attempting to attack a giraffe in front of an audience of gemsbok antelope was taken near a waterhole in Damaraland, Namibia.
The exhibition is in the Visitor Centre and can be seen between 9:00am and 4:30 pm daily at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest.
Wildlife Photographer of the Year is owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
