Countax have announced a sponsorship programme with Butterfly World, to provide the equipment for grounds maintenance of the 27acre St Albans site
They will be supplying a C300 Mulching ride-on mower, as well as a selection of ECHO brushcutters, hedgetrimmers, power blowers, chainsaws and an ECHO Bear Cat chipper to enable the team of grounds maintenance staff at Butterfly World to ensure the gardens are kept in pristine shape for the 200,000 visitors expected when Phase I Future Gardens by Butterfly World Project opens at the beginning of June 2009.
Countax and ECHO dealer, Taylors Tools of Kings Langley, are co-sponsors, and as well as contributing towards costs, will provide the annual service of all the products in use.
Butterfly World is a £27million world class visitor attraction, which will be the largest walkthrough experience of its type in the world, and is destined to become a key influence in active conservation, education and sustainability.
Patron of Butterfly World, Prof. David Bellamy, was on site to receive the equipment from Countax and Taylors Tools. Countax managingdirector, Harry Handkammer, says “We are delighted to have our equipment here at Butterfly World. It is an awe-inspiring project, and with such a large volume of public visitors expected, keeping this large site in tip-top condition will play a key role in their success. We wish Butterfly World every success
