Mitsubishi Motors today collected another prestigious Van Fleet World Award for its L200 pick-up truck, the fourth in a row.
John Kendall, Van Fleet World’s editor says that, “The latest L200 was launched three years ago, introducing a new 2.5-litre 136PS common rail DI-D diesel, and a radical design departure. Mitsubishi Motors is the only manufacturer to have shifted significantly from the house brick school of pick-up design, adopting a more rounded and aerodynamic shape than its rivals.”
The interior keeps up the exterior design trend with a dashboard that would look quite at home in a car, while providing space for a digital tachograph, vital if used for towing. Mitsubishi’s in-house conversion facility means the company can fit the L200 with any equipment needed for the job too.”
