Oak View Landscapes has been recognised for the way that it supports, develops and manages its staff with an internationally recognised accreditation from Investors in People (IIP).
The company has achieved Silver IIP Standard following a rigorous assessment process which looks at how businesses empower staff and reward good performance and deliver continuous improvement.
IIP expect the Silver Level to be awarded to the top five percentile of organisations assessed.
Jakki Jenner, Operations Director, who led the project, said “we aspire to be a caring and market leading employer and this award is testament to this ambition. Over the past few years we have worked hard to embed our vision and values across the business. We had originally set ourselves the target of gaining Silver status by March 2017 and are delighted to have achieved this months in advance. But we are not a company to stand still, we now look forward to building on this success as we seek to progress up the accreditation ladder and next time we will be going for Gold”.
