Major industry initiative

Rigby Taylor has reached agreement with The FA to be the Official Supplier to the FA Pitch Improvement Programme.
This four year agreement will see the supply of Rigby Taylor grass seed, fertilizers, line marking paints and machines, and other consumable products being made available to clubs with the objective of achieving a common quality standard of pitch presentation.
The programme is aimed at improving the quality of natural turf pitches across all levels of the game with specialist advice and guidance via site visits, with the opportunity to obtain grants and discounted rates off the recommended machinery and materials required to improve pitches. A website has also been developed with the aim of supporting local groundsmen and volunteers.
The contract was won after stiff competition and Rigby Taylor has been selected as the preferred materials partner signing a four year contract. The programme aims to get more people playing football on better pitches, this key initiative has been detailed in The FA’s National Facilities Strategy, and will support the delivery of the new FA National Game Strategy. The support available to clubs and leagues will help to ensure better facilities are available for both training and matches.
