The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) have announced that the stars of Channel 4’s latest landscaping and gardening show will be in attendance at the BALI National Landscape Awards 2009. Matthew Wilson who is presenting the Channel 4 show will be attending the awards on the 4th December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London alongside his wife and a representative from the shows production company Red House TV.
The shows creators Red House are currently looking for projects to star in the show, and will be taking the time to speak to contractors, designers and clients at the BALI National Landscape Awards 2009 about any up and coming projects which could possibly fit the shows brief.
Landscape Man, which is produced by the creator of Grand Designs, is set to be a major primetime series following the design and creation of highly ambitious and beautiful new private gardens, and the inspirational people driving them, over the course of a year. The series is a celebration of people and their passion for Nature, and a realistic portrayal of what is involved in creating truly stunning landscaped gardens. The series will set a new benchmark for this area and show people with ideas and passions and visions that go far and away beyond anything we normally associate with gardening on TV. Matthew Wilson says: "We are pleased to be attending the awards because it will be a fantastic opportunity to meet some of the finest talent within the industry and discover first hand what is happening around the UK. We are looking for real projects to follow that are epic, conceived and paid for by people with design ambition, imagination and determination, who will take us on their adventures as they strive to create truly beautiful, big and outstanding garden designs. “
