Head hunting….

Last year was a year of unprecedented change and development at the landscape industry’s largest trade association. The departure of BALI’s CEO in February was the catalyst for the BALI Board of Directors to go back to basics and take stock.
A comprehensive strategic review, carried out by the Board over a six month period, was presented to BALI members at the National AGM at GLEE in September 2010. The new vision and mission statement, supported by a 58 point strategic plan, is being implemented and BALI members are already appreciating the benefit.
As a result of the new focus, membership is steadily increasing and BALI is now looking for a new CEO to take on the day-to-day management of the association and assume overall responsibility for the ongoing development and implementation of the strategic plan for the benefit of members.
BALI National Chairman Paul Cowell told The Landscaper “The BALI Board has done a superb job in getting back to basics, listening to the membership, finding out just what it is that they want their association to deliver, and developing a plan to do just that. Now we have to find the right person who will lead from the front and drive the strategic plan forward.”

BALI affiliate member Horticruitment will be handling the selection process. Interested parties can speak confidentially to Paul Figg at Horticruitment paul@horticruitment.com
