With over 70% of landscaping and garden design companies already signed up to come back to Glee 2011 the show looks set to be a thriving showcase. Key product groups represented include everything from garden buildings and aggregates to fencing and timber essentials, soft landscaping, paving, water features, statuary, garden features and play structures.
Glee’s event director, Nick Davison told The Landscaper : “Glee’s landscaping offering has always been one of the show’s strengths, however we wanted to develop it further to ensure that the show has a greater appeal to garden designers, landscapers and builders merchants. We’re therefore working to provide a strong blend of landscape companies, both niche and market leaders, as well as garden design companies to provide fresh inspiration and the newest product offerings. “Rebooking figures for Glee Landscaping & Garden Design are already looking really strong. This puts us in a great position for building the rest of the show over the coming months. The early commitment from exhibitors has enabled us to gather critical feedback that will help us develop and strengthen the show further in 2011, helping to make it an even more essential event for the industries it represents.”
Key brands confirmed for Glee Landscaping & Garden Design include Vivid Arts, Eden Halls Greenhouses, Melmar Stone, Timber Garden Buildings, Foras, M & M Timbers, Kelkay, Border Stone, Deco-pak, Forest Garden, Vegtrug, Lucas Garden Statuary, Woodlodge Products, Blakeway Stonecraft, Sika, London & Lancashire Rubber Co and Stone More Garden Buildings.
Rebookings for Glee as a whole have also continued at a strong pace. Organisers have confirmed that exhibitor rebookings for the 2011 show already covers more than 60% of the increased 2011 floorplan, with 320 companies who exhibited in September already re-confirming their commitment to Glee in 2011.
