URBIS’ NOCTIS ADDS THE FINAL FLOURISH IN STOKE
STOKE-ON-TRENT CITY COUNCIL WANTED TO REDEVELOP SWAN SQUARE IN BURSLEM AND CREATE A SPACE TO ENCOURAGE MORE PEDESTRIANS INTO THE AREA. 
Keith Nye, of landscape designers FPCR, explained, “We designed a curved path made of recycled glass which flows through the square. We asked Urbis for advice on lighting solutions.”
Urbis supplied 30 of their Noctis Minis, which are set into the curved path. The units run through a set sequence of lighting changes, which mirror the colours of the recycled glass. Keith commented, “We’ve had some really positive feedback since the scheme opened last year.”
