Garden Retail is bringing together a panel of experts at Glee for a special seminar – ‘Secrets of Success of the Top 100 Garden Centres’.
Taking place on Monday 21st September at 9:30am the hour-long session will focus on some of the results of Garden Retail’s 12-page report on Britain’s Top 100 Garden Centres, which will have been published just before the show.
The event will feature a panel discussion with some of the garden centre industry’s leading figures. Hosted by Garden Retail’s editor, Matthew Appleby, the panellists confirmed include Carol Paris, operations director at Garden & Leisure; Boyd Douglas-Davies, MD of Webbs; Caroline Owen, MD of Scotsdale Garden Centre and Chair of the HTA Retail Committee; plus international garden centre consultant, John Stanley.
Offering interest and inspiration for retailers across the industry, the panel will discuss their views on how the Top 100 Garden Centres have achieved success, the lessons that can be learned from their approaches to doing business, and ideas on how they can continue developing in the future. Questions will also be welcomed from the floor, providing an ideal opportunity for garden centre owners and teams to seek answers to some of their most burning questions. There will also be useful factsheet, entitled ‘The Secrets of Success – 20 Top Tips” for all attendees to take away and use as inspiration within their own garden centres.
