They are also one of the country’s leading hardwood round timber merchants, providing hardwood logs of all species and qualities to customers of varying sizes.
Established in 1960 and still operating from the original site in Northumberland, the company now employs over 100 people. They are FSC registered, and source timber only from sustainable, managed forests throughout the UK, and in particular from our local areas across northern England and Scotland.
To achieve a longer service life we treat our fencing timbers using the Osmose Naturewood preservative system. This system is based on copper, a naturally occurring mineral and an effective, widely used fungicide. A choice of green or brown pressure treatments is available
