DONT MISS OUT!

A major event in the arborists’ calendar, the annual Arborists’ Trade Fair will return to Cirencester with ever-more attractions and trade stands this June. Now in its 11th year, the Arborists’ Trade Fair is organised by the Arboricultural Association and sponsored by STIHL Visitors can try and buy a wide range of products and services from around 100 of the country’s leading suppliers at the show, and ensuring a really great deal from the day, a busy programme of workshops, demonstrations and competitions is planned.

Over 100 trade stands
With over 100 trade stands at the Trade Fair last year, this is by far the largest dedicated arborists’ event in the country. From chippers to access platforms, power tools to PPE, the major brands are all represented, and visitors can also meet a wide range of service providers.

Busy workshop programme
Another key benefit of visiting the Trade Fair is the opportunity to join one of the free workshops planned, to help keep abreast of industry issues and legislation. Included in this year’s programme a new workshop entitled ‘An Introduction to Tree Surveying’ gives a valuable insight to the issues involved in assessing tree safety, and with the ever-increasing liability of tree owners and surveyors this important subject demands due care.

Demonstrations and events
In addition to the workshop sessions, visitors can also enjoy a busy programme of events and demonstrations The ever-popular STIHL-sponsored Treevolution team are back again this year, with some of Europe’s leading practitioners demonstrating the latest tree work techniques, and Treeworker will again be giving more valuable advice through the Tree Climbers’ Forum.

Entry to the Arborists’ Trade Fair is paid on the day and just £8 per adult or £5 for students/unwaged (subject to SU card and UB40). A two-day ticket is also available for £10.00.
