Cutting edge

Kyoeisha UK has added to its range turf maintenance machinery with
the introduction of the Baroness GM2800 five-deck rotary mower.
This brand new Kyoeisha manufactured model joins the growing stable of
Baroness machines distributed from its new premises
in Basingstoke.
The GM2800 is a powerful, flexible mower designed to deliver a high work
rate and quality cut with utmost manoeuvrability on even the most
demanding of terrain.
Five independently mounted rotary cutting units ensure maximum contour
following in all conditions and should the operator wish to head for the hills,
the high-torque motors and on-demand four-wheel drive means the GM2800
is comfortable on the most demanding slopes and turns.
Power is supplied by a Kubota V2403M-T 56hp engine enabling
the mower to motor at 16kph in two-wheel drive and up to 9kph in four-wheel
drive. Cutting width is 280cm (110in) and the rear cutter decks can be easily swung
out for maintenance access ensuring no more inaccessible and unserviceable
areas. Cutting height is from 20mm-91.5mm with all operating controls easy-to-hand
from the ergonomic designed high-backed seat.
