Maintenance firm Greenscape has won a £190,000 contract to look after the grounds of 125 housing estates in the West Midlands and Shropshire.
The housing estates are all managed by Birmingham-based Mercian Housing Association, which provides more than 3,400 affordable homes to families across the region.
Greenscape, based in Wednesbury, was chosen from a number of other businesses to undertake the contract.
Work will include mowing lawns, pruning and trimming shrubs and hedges, landscaping, tree surgery and cleaning and maintaining car parks.
Phil Greaves, Business Development Manager at Greenscape, told The Landscaper “We are very proud to have been chosen by Mercian to carry out the maintenance of their grounds. “We have more than 26 years of experience, much of which has included working for housing associations, so we are well equipped to provide a professional and value-for-money service.”
