In 2008 Martyn Mogford, Chairman of Gavin Jones was named Grantee of the Warrant for recognition of the services as Landscape Maintenance Contractors to HM The Queen.
The Royal Warrant is granted for a five year period, with a review twelve months prior to the end of tenure. Gavin Jones recently re-applied for the Warrant – since the first period was due to expire at the end of 2012. Following a review by the Royal Household Warrants Committee at their Annual Meeting in December, it was recommended that Gavin Jones retain the Warrant to the Queen for a further 5-year period. This effectively extends their tenure until 2017, with a further review being due in 2016.
