After 15 years as Sales and Marketing Director, Andy Chalmers has been promoted to Managing Director
Chalmers’ entire career has been spent in the forestry, timber products and horticultural sectors, having started work as a trainee forester with the Forestry Commission in North Scotland at the age of 16.
He has spent over 30 years selling bark and is widely acknowledged as in industry expert in that field.
‘The success of our business has been as a result of being 100% consumer focused and supplying exactly what the customer wants. We have also constantly invested in the latest production equipment to ensure that our products are made to the highest quality possible.
Over the last six months, we have seen a substantial uptake in our Sylvamix, peat-free growing media. This product range will be a significant part of our continued success for many years to come.
