Hultons Landscapes completes Wright acquisition

Hultons Landscapes has completed its acquisition of £2 million turnover Welsh firm Wright Landscapes for an undisclosed sum, in a move set to support its long-term growth strategy.
The acquisition will see Hultons expand its UK presence into North Wales, and follows its organic growth into the West Midlands and South Yorkshire regions earlier in 2016.
Wright has 15 employees across offices in Wrexham and Alltami and its clients include local authorities, developers, contractors and architects. The business will continue to operate under its existing brand as part of Hultons Landscapes.
Hultons Landscapes’ services include Landscape Construction, Grounds Maintenance, and Private Domestic projects and over the last year the business has seen sales increase by over 100 per cent. The acquisition will support the £7 million turnover business’ fast-growing construction division and provide new services to Wright’s existing client base from Hultons’ business units.
The firm, which was founded in 1968, currently employs 65 people in its office in Lymm and is soon to open an office in the Midlands.
Lee Webster, managing director of Hultons Landscapes, said: “This has been a landmark year for Hultons and the acquisition is another milestone for us.
“We continue to achieve exceptional sales growth year on year and this has allowed us to secure further investment to strengthen our business. Meanwhile, our work in the sector is also gaining increased recognition and saw us win two awards from the British Association of Landscaping Industries this year.
“Expanding our capabilities as well as our regional presence gives us an excellent platform for growth as one of the leading providers of landscape services in the country. We have assembled what we feel is one of the leading team’s in the industry and we’re looking to continue to expand further both organically and through acquisition”
