Wining designer

Provender Nurseries in conjunction with Capel Manor College, Regents Park campus have selected a winning design by Tish Potter after judging 30 entries in a garden design project submitted by students.
Tish Potter’s design was selected as the rope supports perfectly reflected other areas within Regents Park providing unity between spaces used by the public.  The planting provides scent, large drifts of colour and structure with a colour scheme of dark purple through to pink with pops of soft yellow and white for visitors to enjoy.  The use of trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Star of Toscana’ was selected to grow along the rope structures.
Tish Potter may already be familiar to some as before starting her garden design studies she was an actress in Holby City and Brookside.  Bought up on her family farm in Kent Tish has had a love of plants and design for some time and after graduating in December 2016 will be pursuing a full time career in Garden Design.
The design brief was given to students of Garden Design as part of their coursework with the winning design being awarded a cash prize of £250.00 by Provender Nurseries.  Judging took place in May by Sophie Guinness, Liz Hughes and Mark Rowe, Assistant Park Manager of Regents Park.
Provender Nurseries hold a garden design completion with Capel Manor College in both Enfield and Regents Park Campuses.
