Members of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) are invited to submit entries for the APL Awards 2010 which are sponsored by Bradstone. The awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the best in British landscaping and enable winning landscapers to gain national recognition for their achievements.
Following feedback from judges and entrants, the APL committee decided to review the categories and, with the help of Chris Young – one of the APL Awards judges, they have revised the categories for the 2010 Awards to better represent the type of work being taken on by APL members.
The project value categories have been re-aligned to demonstrate the project sizes being taken on and the front garden category will now be grouped with these project value categories. This means that the categories for 2010 are as follows:
Category 1 Project value under £15,000 – Landscape/garden scheme
Category 2 Project value between £15,000 & £30,000 – Landscape/garden scheme
Category 3 Project value between £30,000 & £60,000 – Landscape/garden scheme
Category 4 Project value between £60,000 & £100,000- Landscape/garden scheme
Category 5 Project value over £100,000 – Landscape/garden scheme
Category 6 Soft Landscaping – Any entrant
Category 7 Overall Design & Build – Designed by the landscaper
Category 8 Commercial Garden – Any entrant
Category 9 Maintenance – Landscape or garden, interior or exterior
Category 10 Special Feature – Any entrant
Category 11 Young Achiever – Entrant must be under 25
