Editorial Mission

Acquired by leading print advertising company and founders behind Essential Surrey, Sheengate Publishing in 2018, The Landscaper Magazine is the UK’s leading monthly magazine for professional landscapers and those working in the Groundscare and Turf industries.

Our readers are responsible for designing and constructing ultra-expensive urban gardens and patios, large glasshouses, outbuildings and water features. They are also involved in laying lawns and borders and installing irrigation, fencing, decking and lighting. Larger projects that require the services of our readers include parks, golf courses, leisure areas and the sprawling new out-of-town shopping developments.

The magazine’s editorial mission is to be the industry’s eyes, ears and mouthpiece.

Our target audiences:

Independent landscapers and contractors, managing directors/ proprietors of landscaping companies/ sales directors corporate landscaping companies/ greenkeepers/groundsmen /local government specifiers/officials/ landscape designers and architects/ landscaping or agricultural teachers students/ Arborists/ machinery dealers or engineers/ park managers/ surveyors/ horticulturists/ nursery owners managing directors or any company or individual concerned with the landscaping, groundkeeping greenkeeping and horticultural industry.

Our Aim

In order to achieve this goal, members of our team preview, attend and report on every major trade show in the UK as well as on some of the smaller regional shows.

Our magazine carries pages of news, features, interviews, profiles and machinery reviews – as well as seeking out new opportunities for our readers to expand and improve their businesses.

The job of the modern landscaper is diverse and still expanding, as indeed does the magazine’s coverage – from machinery to planting.

The Landscaper concerns itself with new ways of improving and protecting the environment and conserving our natural resources and wildlife.

The magazine strives at all times to help its readers improve the image and service they present to the public and for that reason is fully supportive of BALI and the APL. We are always pleased to receive information about any development concerning the world of landscaping.
