A small established landscaping, horticultural, and arboricultural company dedicated to high quality service operating in West Wickham, Bromley and the environs, Kent.
The candidates required skills are varied but experience in all tasks not essential. A positive and keen attitude towards learning new skills being more important as training on the job is given.
The position offered is split between mainly Soft Landscaping projects and a regular garden maintenance schedule. The garden maintenance schedule runs from April to December and is carried out on alternate weeks to the soft landscaping projects. Between January and April the focus is solely on landscape projects.
Candidates should be fit and healthy as the job is physical and outdoors in all weathers, heavy lifting is involved.
Experience or a qualification in horticulture/grounds maintenance as well as machinery tickets would be an advantage, such as Mowers, Strimmers as is a CSCS card.
Soft Landscaping Duties:
• Turfing
• Fencing
• Decking/pergola construction
• Sleeper work
• Tree & Shrub planting
• Ground Preparation
• Garden tidy ups/clearances
• Hard Landscaping when required, usually winter months
Maintenance Duties:
• Lawn Maintenance
• Planting
• Pruning
• Weed Control
Candidates should have:
• Full driving licence, useful.
• A horticultural qualification and PA1/PA6 are desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude, essential.
• Be well presented and communicative.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4.30pm (approx.) and occasional Saturdays. Longer hours may be required when busy, overtime will be paid.
An immediate start is available for successful candidates. Salary dependent on experience and to be reviewed regularly.
