Cutting and collecting over large areas? Redexim’s new Turf-Tidy 5000 may be what you want.
It’s hopper holds up to 5,000 l and features dust-suppression-cover, seat-controlled rear camera for easy maneuvering, tool-less quick change blades and high-tipping angle for fast, complete release.
More capacity allows more time cutting and less time emptying, making the unit efficient for large areas – the rear-mounted camera enabling safe reversing.
Dust-suppression cover keeps material and debris contained – high, steep tipping ejecting it “efficiently and completely”.
The ‘5000’ offers the flail-mowing, scarification, dethatching and collecting typifying the Turf-Tidy line, such as the ‘3000’ and compact ‘1100’.
“They are built to last with durable designs that deliver reliable cutting and collecting season after season,” notes global commercial director Curtis Allen, adding: “Our customers asked for a higher capacity cut and collect unit with the popular floating-head technology of the smaller Turf-Tidy 3000 along with the proven high-tip emptying feature.”
Horse racetracks and AFL fields where hopper capacity is key will suit the machine, he says. “Development, testing and launch of another product is testament to our continued drive to respond to the needs of customers with dependable turfcare solutions.”
The ‘5000’ requires a minimum of 45 hp pulling power while scarifying and 25 hp while sweeping. Weighing 2,550 kg, it has 1.8 m working width and 30 mm maximum working depth while scarifying and 80 mm while mowing.
