Baroness unveils battery pedestrian mower

Sharing with Kubota on stand 624, Baroness displays its golf course mower and maintenance solutions.
Debuting in the UK and Europe will be the ELM56 lithium-battery powered prototype of its LM56 pedestrian mower, promising quiet, efficient operation, while the nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy cutting cylinders with hardened bedknives deliver consistently professional quality of cut.
Fully-gear driven for low maintenance and with one-touch operation, the ELM56 highlights control and manoeuvrability on greens, tees, tennis courts and cricket pitches.
The lightweight all-electric LMB12 tackles steep bunker edges or ornamental areas where compact footprint, easy running and low noise pollution can heighten presentation and safety.
The LM551B mid-weight five-unit fairway mower is equipped with 22 in and 26 in units plus optional accessories – following contours “to maintain cut quality while also delivering improvements in fuel efficiency and operator comfort”, while the five-deck GM2810A rotary handles large spaces.
Maintenance machines include the TDA1600 aerator and Agrimetal GR660 roller. Providing a 66 in roll width and equipped with robust, low-maintenance synchro belt drive, the GR660 “enhances smoothness and playability, improves greens speed and provides a professional finish for top-tier course presentation”.
