Convenience and quietness – two qualities landscapers love in their power tools and you’ll find them in Stihl’s BGA 160 battery blower.
Clean surfaces and paths “effortlessly”, thanks to the 940 m3/h air flow rate. “Compared to the powerful BGA 250 hand-held blower, the professional ‘160’ offers longer working times and lower blowing force,” Stihl states.
A welcome way to remove leaves, grass cuttings and debris from paths, driveways, and green spaces, the ‘160’ blowing force is trigger controlled and locked in place with built-in cruise control.

Teams can activate boost mode by fully compressing the trigger to deliver 21 Newtons blowing force, with the setting constantly available over the tool’s operating time if needed.
Compact design and curved blower tube “reduces wrist strain and allows excellent manoeuvrability”, while Stihl’s Sound Engineering “has eliminated higher-pitched frequencies and noise peaks” to suit sensitive areas.
Part of the manufacturer’s AP System, the ‘160’ meets requirements for professional use, drawing power from a 36 V lithium-ion battery. Stihl recommends using it with the AP 300 S, which provides enough energy for up to 110 minutes on the low power setting and up to 15 minutes in boost mode. IPX4 certified, the blower can be run in the rain to meet year-round requirements.
